About Us
Bible Study Planet is an online ministry dedicated to
helping Christians grow in the grace & knowledge of Jesus Christ. We
do this by offering free bible studies, devotionals, study tools, family
resources and links to other good sites. We launched in 1997 and now
receive thousands of visitors from all over the world annually.
We encourage to use anything you
find on this website for your church, bible study, website, youth group,
or any place else providing it is for nonprofit use.
- We believe the Bible,
composed of 66 books, to be
the only inspired,
infallible, and
authoritative
Word of God profitable for
doctrine, reproof,
correction, instruction in
righteousness, and that it
enables the person of God to
be complete, thoroughly
equipped for every good
work. (2 Tim 3:16)
- We believe that there is
one God, eternally existent
in three Persons: Father,
Son, and Holy Spirit, who is
the Creator of heaven,
earth, and all things
therein. (Matthew 28:19; Isa
48:12,16-17)
- We believe in the deity
of Jesus Christ; in His
virgin birth, His sinless
life, His miracles, His
atoning death on the cross,
His bodily resurrection, His
ascension to the right hand
of the Father; and
in His personal return in
power and glory. (Jhn 14:9;
1 Cor 15:1-4; Acts 1:11)
- We believe that for
salvation to occur,
regeneration by the Holy
Spirit is essential, and
that repentance from sin and
acceptance of Jesus Christ
as Lord and Savior is the
only way to
come into a relationship
with God. (Tts 3:5; 2 Cor.
7:10; Jhn 8:24)
- We believe in the
resurrection of both the
saved and the lost: The
saved unto the resurrection
of life and the lost unto
the resurrection of
damnation. (Dan 12:2; Rev
20)
- We believe it is
important to uphold the
Scriptural practices of the
early church. Therefore,
we hold to the practice of
water baptism and the taking
of communion. We do not
believe that
either of these practices is
essential for salvation, but
that they serve as a
demonstration of our living
faith in Christ. (1 Pet
3:21; Eph 2:8)
- We believe in the
pretribulation rapture of
the Church, and while not
essential to our beliefs as
a Christian, we encourage
each other to live as though
Christ can come any moment.
(Tts 2:13)
- We believe that life
begins at conception and,
because of the price God was
willing to pay to
redeem us, all life has
intrinsic value. (Psa
139:13-14; Jhn 3:16)
- We believe in the
sanctity of marriage,
consisting of one man and
one woman. (Gen 2:24)
- We believe that faith
without works is dead.
Therefore we believe
Christians should care for
both the spiritual and
material needs of those in
need. (James 2:20)
